The works
As a multidisciplinary artist, Franck Jouneau has built a singular career since the 1970s at the crossroads of music, visual arts, cinema, and literature. A drummer since 1975, he has performed in rock, jazz, R&B, fusion, and improvisational settings, and also composes music for his own films. From 1984 onward, he has exhibited illustrations and paintings in France and Canada, while pursuing a nearly forty-year career as an art director, multimedia designer, and teacher in computer graphics.
A writer of science fiction and speculative fiction, he has published several novels and a graphic novel, exploring themes of transformation, identity, and evolution. Between 2004 and 2022, he directed seventeen films, including eight feature-length works. Since 2022, he has developed experimental electronic music projects and returned to fiction writing with new fantasy and science fiction novels.
I have always tried to free myself from the shackles, this is probably the reason why I do consider art, only multi-disciplinary.
I hope to gain a broader more universal way, in my opinion necessary to understand what surrounds us, what makes us live and how.

Music (8 bands and solo)
From 1977, I was drummer in several bands in Ireland, England, Nederlands and Canada (playing fusion, jazz, rock, improvisation et RnB). In 2008 I make a part of the music for the movies he creates as well as sound design. In 2022 I make a stand by from cinéma and goes back to music to create electonic music of different kind, Ambient, Noise, Dark, Drone and several pieces based on random and improvisation. I have also created a band of several musicians in a project called "Paradigm" and another (IDM) band called "Moduloblik". More to come soon...
